Donnington SkatePark

We gained £25,000 towards the Donnington Rec leisure management plan to carry out detailed consultation with children and young people to establish their skate park design choice and to plan a 12 month programme of organised play activities to place place during 2012.  The project has been a huge success with people visiting the skate park from all over the country

Local Improvements

We helped to get the service road behind The Parade shope re-surfaced.

A new puffin crossing was put in on Wellington road, this was a joint project with Telford & Wrekin Council, the local Parish Council and ourselves.

We also were involved with Ash Lea Drive improvements, which included a new community gree, new fencing and better street lighting, secure car park, some flats received internal and external improvements and communal bin areas were tidied up.

Operation Clean Sweep

'Operation Clean Sweep' saw a mass input in visible police patrols, housing officer patrols, vehicle checks, dealing with those acting anti-socially, shrub pruning, carrying out repairs and general maintenance to the environment.  The clean ups aim to concentrate as many resources during a one week period to re-assure residents that we will not tolerate anti social behaviour, criminal damage or environmental crime

Community Cafe

Our very own Cafe received a £15,000 facelift in 2012 to turn it into a professional catering kitchen and funding to pay an employee for a year.

The cafe has gone from strength to strength since, offering more services such as Buffets, Childrens Party Catering and a Delivery Service.
